My favorite part of this video is the analysis of the donkey basketball league newcomer, Scraps. When one of the announcers says, "I like his moves, and I've seen a lot of donkeys move," another matter-of-factly replies, "Yes you have."
That, according to the Onion newspaper's online edition. (FYI, if you don't know the Onion: This is a joke.)

On second thought, the title doesn't make much sense. You try coming up with a clever pun. I'm still ecstatic that I was so able to blend my name with the famous fictional archeaologist's.
The movie 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' has been in theaters since last Wednesday at midnight and taken in (as of Sunday) $126 million dollars. Just as big as the long weekend gross is the chasm there seems to be among movie goers that went to the film.
Watchtower Jehovah Witness blood rule based on truth?Scriptures they quote offer no proof
'No blood poem'
The Watchtower says don’t ever take blood
It may save your life, but it’ll do you no good
For the bible tells us to take it is wrong
So if you love Jehovah, you need to stay strong
And never use anything that Jehovah has condemned
Even if it means that your life may end
Always remember, though we want you to live
Should you ever weaken, we do not forgive
So should you ever dare to choose
To use a treatment that’s against our rules
Craig Olson of Shakopee will be remembered by the Prior Lake-Savage Area community in many ways: as a father, husband, principal, mentor, leader and, to many, a visionary for creating global perspective locally and fostering an emphasis for area adults to mentor youth.

As Sidney Markie of Shakopee approaches three months post-transplant, issues have arisen that require ongoing blood transfusions and the use of blood for dialysis. Her family currently is seeking donors with type A-negative blood to make donor-designated donations so that there will be a sufficient blood supply for the 11-month-old.

Anyone who knows me knows that I can be critical of umpires/officials for calls. I understand that it is a tough job, but when I can sit in the stands and see a call missed, that bothers me.
To give the crew some credit, the home umpire did get the call correct on Kyle Becker sliding home at the plate. See Page 16A of today's paper for evidence of that.
Here are two plays from Saturday's baseball game with Waconia - you be the judge:
I hope the local farmers aren't as behind with their farming practice as this guy is with his statistics. It's nice to look at history and see the trends but he's about 12 to 15 months out of the current cycle of land prices.

On my visit to the cemetery today, I couldn't help but notice all the colorful flowers and tributes people left honoring their loved ones. The flags flying honoring our military heroes added a touch of true patriotism. It's a warm feeling knowing that even if for one day, our past and memories of not only our loved ones but the people whose graves we pass by are thought of and remembered. I've lost some wonderful, loving people in my life and I think of them daily - today I thought of your loved ones too and wish you happy memories of those you loved and lost until you meet again.
